"MRS. CORBITT DIES MONDAY: Mrs. Susie CORBITT of 513 Eleventh Street Passes at City Hospital // Mrs. Susie CORBITT, well known Columbus woman, of 513 Eleventh street, died at the city hospital at noon Monday. She had been ill for about a month, and was taken to the hospital Sunday night after she was believed to have taken an overdose of medicine. // Besides her husband, Jim CORBITT, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Rosa COMER, of Columbus; two sons, Woodie CORBITT and Hubert CORBITT, of Eufaula, Ala.; three daughters, Miss Myrtle CORBITT, Miss Catherine CORBITT and Miss Martha CORBITT, all of Columbus; three brothers, Frank COMER, of Phenix City, and Robbie COMER and Clifford COMER , of Columbus; six sisters, Mrs. J. C. HASTY, of New York, Mrs. MILLER, Mrs. Veto DeFRAVIO, Mrs. Beatrice JONES, Mrs. Katherine SWEATT and Mrs. Dell ARMOUR, all of Columbus, and several nieces and nephews. // Funeral arrangements will be announced later." The family rented a house at 514 Eleventh Street in Columbus, Georgia Militia Distrct #668 (Lower Town District) in Muscogee County, GA. James and Woodie were house carpenters. The R. L. Polk's city directory of Columbus, Ga., for 1928, p. 168, shows them at 2110 Eleventh Avenue. - jml]

HOUSE will conduct the services and the interment will be in Patrick's cemetery on the Buena Vista road. // The following will serve as pallbearers: Fred WATSON, Levi GAMBLE, Claude HARDEN, Mr. EVERETT, Fred PATRICK and Alford DeFRAVIO."
