ROZZERO, MICHAEL J., SR., 78, of Cranston, passed away Friday September 18, 2009 at home, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with brain cancer, Glioblastoma. He was the beloved husband of Beverly (Ford) Rozzero. He was born in Cranston a son of the late Antonio and Diorata (Balasco) Rozzero. Mr. Rozzero was a retired State of Rhode Island laborer for the Highway Division. Michael was a communicant of St. Ann's Church in Cranston, and was also a US Army veteran. Besides his beloved wife, he is survived by his loving children, Antonia Berger and her husband James, Jacqueline Nottage and her husband John, Michael J. Rozzero Jr. and his wife Teri. He was the cherished grandfather of Rebekah and Louis Berger, Jack and Jamie Nottage, Nicole and Michael III Rozzero. He was also the brother of Mary Iacampo, Domenic and Guido Rozzero, and the late Paul, Antonio, Ida and Alfred Rozzero. His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Ann's Church, Cranston St. Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Monday 5-8 pm.
