In 1914 Herman and the children moved to Wolfle POint, Montana. He returned for the horses and cattle and it is believed to have died there.

The funeral of Ella Arndt was held at the family residence two and a half miles souith of Whitla on Sunday last at 11 o'clock. The little one died at the hospital in Medicine Hat last Thursday. She suffered for some time with spinal meningitis.
