YORK Mary Eliza Ness, 92, of Country Meadows of Leader Heights, formerly of Parkway Boulevard, York, died Sunday morning at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Elvin "Amos" Ness.

The service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Robert M. Goodling Funeral Home, 62 Main St., Seven Valleys. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ness was born April 19, 1903, in Loganville. She was the daughter of the late Francis E. and Annie E. (Snyder) Miller.

She was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Loganville. She was a life member of Lincoln Fire Company in York and a member of Asbury Fellowship in York.

Mrs. Ness is survived by three sisters, Hilda G. Krebs, I. Allegra Nagle and Geraldine E. Miller, all of York; and nieces and nephews.

Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. D. Goodloe Love, and the Rev. Carol Snell, chaplain at Country Meadows of Leader Heights.
