Taylor Luton, 64, of 302 Pacific Street, died at home at 7:35 pm yesterday after suffering a stroke about three weeks ago, from which he never recovered.
He was a well known and highly respected merchant in the Third Ward area.
Surviving are children, Perry of El Segundo, CA, Roy of Franklin, Mrs. George Cubitt of Flat Rock, IL, and Mrs. Philip Hied of Franklin; brothers and sisters. N. B. Luton of Franklin, William Luton of Parker, George Luton of Fairview, WV, David Luton of Muncie, IN, Mrs. Riley Hinkson of Titusville, Mrs. Boyd Sanders of Muncie, IN, and Mrs. Sarah Rosenberg of Weston, OH.
Services will be at his home at 2:30 pm Saturday. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
