Lucy Lee Davis was to the late James and Lucy Hayes Tomlin. She was a member of Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church and formerly employed by King Edward Cigar Factory and Gold Kist Pecan Factory. She was well-known in the local community for her excellent pies, and was called the "pie lady." Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Bettye Moore; a son, Herman Lee (HL) Davis; a sister Estelle Roberson; a brother, James Tomblin, and a grandson, Gregory Chandler.
Funeral services were held at the St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Waycross.
Interment followed in the Nunn Cemetery, Bob Baker Road, Blackshear.
Rainge Memorial Chapel of Blackshear was in charge of arrangements.
