Mrs. Lydia Starks died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Perley Macomber, Wednesday, March 27. She was advanced in years and had been very low for several months. She was a native of this town, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lindsay. She was married early in life to Philo Starks. They were the parents of a large family of whom four; one son, Gordon and three daughters, Mrs. Nellie Macomber, Mrs. Edwin Monroe and Mrs. Frank Boyd survive her. She is also survived by one sister, Miss Harriet Lindsay. Her husband died in 1922. The funeral was at the Macomber home Saturday, Rev. J. E. Sweet officiating. Interment was in Hopkinton-Ft. Jackson cemetery beside her husband.
