JESSE RALPH HINER, 79, Homer City, died Friday, Dec. 26, 1980, in the Indiana Hospital. A son of Jesse and Minerva (McNutt) Hiner, he was born Jan. 31,1901, in Brushvalley Township. Mr. Hiner was a member of the Brush Valley United Methodist Church; the Royal Arch Chapter 313, Indiana, and past high priest of the chapter; the Kittanning Council of Select Masters and past T.I.M.; past commander of the DuBois Commandry; 32nd degree Mason of the Coudersport Consistory of the Scottish Rite; member of the Tall Cedars of Lebenon; and member of the Jaffa Shrine. Mr. Hiner was self-employed as a plumbing and heating contractor for 60 years.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Janet) Way, Canton, Ohio; two granddaughters; two sisters: Minnie Hiner and Trudel Hiner, both of Homer City; and one brother, Weamer, Brush Valley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan, in 1971; and two sisters.
