Leon Starks passed away May 30 at the Hepburn hospital in Ogdensburg, where he had been for a week. He had been ill for the past three weeks, but physicians did not seem to know what ailed him. On May 24 R.E. Knapp took Mr. Starks to consult an Ogdensburg doctor and he pronounced his disease typhoid fever. Mr. Starks was 38 years old. Besides his sorrowing wife he leave one son, aged six years; his aged mother; three sisters and a brother. He was laid to rest in the Fort-Jackson-Hopkinton cemetery. The family have the sympathy of a large circle of friends in their great sorrow.
