ADKINS, Crawford "CA" - Of Swartz Creek, age 82, died Saturday, July 21, 2007 at the Home of Veterans in Grand Rapids, MI. Visitation 4-8PM Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Cremation will take place following the visitation. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association. Crawford was born in Bebe, Arkansas on July 26, 1924. He served his country in the United States Army. Surviving are wife, Helen; 6 Children, Barbara and husband Thomas Mulcahy, Steven Adkins, Patricia and husband Thomas Swallows, Greg Adkins, Christy Bradley, Nina and husband Robert Kowalski, Larry and wife Renee Adkins; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, James and wife Nancy Adkins.
