August 15, 1941 Miss Sears To Be Buried Here Mrs. Gib Porter of Fayetteville received word this morning of the death of her niece, Miss Mary Katherine Sears, of Indianapolis. Miss Sears died yesterday at the home of her mother, Mrs. Fern Zimmerman, former resident. The deceased was widely related in Lawrence County and had visited here a number of times. She was a granddaughter of George Sears of Bedford. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 o'clock Saturday morning in Indianapolis. Burial will be in Green Hill cemetery here at 1:30 p.m. Miss Sears will be buried in the family lot alongside her father, Milford Sears, who died several years ago.
