A badly eroded marble obelisk marks this lot, standing between 2 illegible stones. The only legible text on the obelisk is the name "Rev. George Benedict" on the front. Evidence of once legible text appears, especially on the right side of the obelisk, but it is unintelligible. In front of the obelisk are two perfectly legible marble footstones, inscribed "George Benedict" and "Nancy Benedict." There are no legible stones or inscriptions for any other BENEDICT or DAYTON buried here.
