Nick Abendroth, age 32, died suddenly on April 4, 2012 at his home.
Nick was born in Appleton on January 22, 1980, son of Dan and Sachy (Johnson) Abendroth.
Nick attended Wilson Middle School, Appleton West High School, and received an Associate's Degree from UW-Fox Valley. In 2005, he graduated from Ripon College with degrees in political science and business administration. Nick was gifted, and everyone was comfortable around him. That's what gave him the ability to be successful and to enjoy his work in sales. He had been employed by Les Stumpf Ford, Lou's Straight Shot in Menasha, and most recently for West Business Services. Many will also remember Nick for his complex political viewpoints, and for being a staunch supporter of the Republican Party.

Nick enjoyed his writing, playing golf, piano, shooting pool, playing dominoes, reading, cooking (especially grilled brisket), and entertaining friends and family.

Nick is survived by his parents: Dan and Sachy Abendroth of Appleton; his fiancée and love of his life: Stacey Schnetzer of Appleton; Stacey's parents: Mike and Mary Schultz of Hortonville and their son Jacob; maternal grandmother: Mary Abendroth of Appleton; special cousins: Julie, Lora, Amy, and Heidi; a maternal aunt: Sue Johnson; several paternal aunts and uncles: Eugene, Amy, Mike, Ava, Mary, Annette, John, and Anne and their spouses and families; a great-aunt: Agnes Johnson; dear friends: Annette Marta Baehman and her sons Tim Marta and Steve Marta; as well as his four-legged buddies: Billy, Molly, and Gabby. Nick is also survived by other relatives, countless friends, and his Theta Chi brothers.

Memorial services for Nick will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Fox Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church, 265 S. Green Bay Road in Neenah. Friends will gather at the church on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
