Services for Blanche E. Fiedler, 91, of Silvis, formerly of Moline, are 11 a.m. Saturday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. The Rev. Glen Bocox will officiate. Burial is in Rose Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Moline.

Mrs. Fiedler died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, in Illini Hospital, Silvis.

The former Blanche Curran was born Nov. 3, 1908, in Cambridge, Illinois, the daughter of John and Almeda (Nordstrom) Curran. She graduated from Mason City, Iowa, High School and attended Augustana College. She married Leroy C. Fiedler on June 1, 1929, in Nashua, Iowa. He died March 25, 1985.

Blanche was general manager of International Harvester East Moline Works Credit Union for many years. She previously worked at the former New York Store in Moline and was a teacher's aide at Grant School. Prior to her marriage, she taught in a one-room rural Mason City school. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Moline, and enjoyed gardening, playing cards and crocheting.

Blanche is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Leigh and Andree Fiedler of Bonita Springs, Florida; a daughter and son-in-law, Jetta and Ray Bourne of Scottsdale, Arizona; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Lucile Cannon of San Diego, California; and brothers, Leigh Curran and Ben Curran, both of Mason City, Iowa.
