Margie Nell McLain, a resident of Eclectic, Alabama was born on May 5, 1931, in Rockford, Alabama and passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014 at the age of 83.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Smith officiating.
Graveside services are Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga.
Mrs. McLain is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nell and Larry Connell; son, Roger McLain; grandchildren, Cratina (Kyle) Haynes, Rodney (Morgan) Connell and Kelly McCollough; four great-grandchildren and one on the way; and brother, Jerry Price.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jordan "Sawmill" and Jettie Price and a son, Joel Orien McLain.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Connell, Kyle Haynes, Frank Griffitt, Chris Jones, Ralph Haynes, and Jeff Butler.
