Birth location originally listed as Ross Twsp, which ceased to exist in 1962, replaced by the incorporated city of Northwood. Inscribed death year of 1885 is in question as a photo has been found of Edith with brother William, who is said to have been born in Jan 1886. Since Edith and William died 9-10 years apart, it is presumed that the stone was not placed until after William's death in 1895. The accuracy of the inscription is further put in question by the apparent misspelling of William's name as Millam. His nickname was Willie.
