Julius C. Whitescarcer [sic], 73, of 733 S. Tuxedo, died in a local hospital yesterday after 72 years residence here. Mr. Whitescarver, a native of Fort Scott, Kansas, was retired warehouseman for San Joaquin General Hospital. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of the Cathedral of the Annunciation. Survivors include his wife, Mary; a daughter, Lois Calcagno of Stockton; a sister, Mrs. John Mack of San Francisco; and five grandchildren. Rosary will be recited tomorrow night at 8 o'clock In DeYoung Memorial Chapel. Mass will be offered Saturday morning at 9 o'clock in the Cathedral of the Annunciation. Burial will be in San Joaquin Cemetery.
