Mrs. Brazil, who died Monday in a Chico hospital, was born May 9, 1903, in the Azores. She had lived in Orland for more than 50 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Lewis of Orland; four sisters, Josephine Correia and Carrie Andrews, both of Orland, Angelina Ferreira of Patterson and Adeline Sevier of San Mateo; a brother, Tony Rocha of Orland; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Michael Dermody, pastor, will officiate. A rosary will be recited at 8 P.M. today at the church. Interment will be in the Orland Catholic Cemetery. The F. D. Sweet and Son Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
