Lawrence Edward Brown passed away peacefully on December 2, 2014. He was born November 5,1949 in Coffeeville, Mississippi. Lawrence was a hardworking and kind individual who was always willing to lend a hand. He will truly be missed. Preceded in death by his parents Ida Pearl Mitchell and Charles Brown, his stepfather Walter Mitchell Jr., stepmother Violet Johnson, and brother Charles Lyons. He leaves to mourn his passing two loving and devoted daughters; longtime companion Rebecca; one son in law; seven grandchildren; four sisters; six brothers; one sister in law; a host of other relatives and friends. Life Celebration on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy., New Orleans, LA. Interment followed on Monday December 15, 2014 at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell, LA.
