Anne-marie (Yaneff) Black, 54, of Sioux City, formerly of Carrollton, TX passed away Saturday December 20, 2014 at her home after a lengthy illness.

Anne-Marie was born December 31, 1959 in Sioux City to Paul and Shirley (Marcum) Yaneff. She graduated from Bishop Heelan High School in 1978 and worked most of her life in insurance claims. She married Scott Black on September 28, 1985 in Sioux City.
Anne-marie’s greatest passion was her two boys Tyler Scott and Jacob Hod Black. She loved being their mother, attending all their sporting events, camping with them and spending days in the pool with them. Anne-marie’s home was full of pictures and mementoes of her two boys. She was proud of Tyler’s kind and giving spirit and his quest to be a personal trainer. She would laugh about his Texas singing voice and loved his passion of cowboy hats, boots and all things Texan. Jacob recently graduated from Texas Tech University and is applying for Law School following in his grandfather’s footsteps. She was very proud of his many activities and accomplishments at Texas Tech. She spoke often of his kind, big heart and the way he always looked after her. Tyler and Jacob loved the Nebraska Cornhuskers, which she supported with quiet grace.
