Charles Vernon Jamison, died December 22, 2014. Beloved Husband and Dearest Friend of Rita Helen (nee Mitchell) for 66 years. Dear Father of Chuck (Lyn) Jamison; John Michael (Diane) Jamison; Cathy (Lloyd) Doering; Mitchell (Patty) Jamison; Paula (Ken) Sauer.

Born October 25, 1925 to the late Charles Vernon Jamison and late Josephine (nee Smith) in Greensboro, PA.

Graduated from Mapletown High in 1944.

Brother of Herbert (Martha) Jamison; the late Gertrude (JC) Humbert; and the late Anna Norma Jamison. Grandfather to Steve (Nadine) Jamison; Marc Jamison (Courtney Ellis); Jackie (Matt) DuBroy; Julie (Joe) Brindlinger; Jennifer Doering (Chris Pickett); Charlene Doering; Shelby (Brian) Grady; Troy Jamison; Brandy Hopkins (Scott Lachanski). Great Grandfather to Haley Hopkins; Gavin Patton; Trystan Jamison; Thomas DuBroy; Dominic DuBroy and Ava Rose Brindlinger. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Dear friend of Harry McEachern and John Jones.

Education: Four years Technical Training (tool and die apprentice) at Westinghouse Electric (East Pittsburgh); Night School at Duquesne University (East Pittsburgh); Cleveland State University (Fenn College) and Baldwin Wallace – graduating in 1972. He was the first Jamison to graduate from college. Started Jamison Manufacturing in the basement of his home; was partner of Kalt Jamison Manufacturing; taught Tool and Die making at Painesville and Cuyahoga Valley Joint Vocation Schools; partner of Jamison Manufacturing until he retired in 1986. In retirement, he was an avid golfer at Sharon Country Club and a passionate gardener at home. He was known for his sense of humor. Charlie was a loyal fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Friends may visit Busch Funeral Home, 7501 Ridge Road, Parma, OH 44129 on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 3pm – 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, December 29, 2014 at St. Colette Catholic Church, 330 West 130th Street, Brunswick, OH 44212 at 10:30 am with internment at East Lawn Cemetery.
