Mrs. Dorothy Caroline Cook, wife of Arthur Cook passed away at the St. Joseph Hospital, Feb. 1, 1947, at the age of 58 years. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Martin of near Napier, MO. She had resided in St. Joseph the past 28 years. She taught school as a young woman.

Surviving are the husband, one son, Nelson, of St. Joseph, one brother, the Rev. Albert Martin of St. Joseph; two sisters, Mrs. Albert McKown of near Fortescue, MO, and Mrs. Amos Whipple of near Napier; a niece, Mrs. Lloyd Mathews of Oregon, MO. Services were held in St. Joseph Tuesday and burial was there.
