Bonnie Belle Thelma Goodchildren of San Bernardino, a native of Centerville, Iowa, lived in San Bernardino County for 48 years, died of cancer Friday at Crestview Convalescent Hospital at the age of 87. She was a member of the AARP Friendship Club and was survived by her three sons, Charles and Jerry Shirley, both of Washington, Robert Shirley of Huntington Beach, two daughters, Gloria McKinley and Bonnie Pruitt, both of San Bernardino, a brother, Tom Young of Menlo Park, 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Montecito Memorial Park with Montecito Memorial Chapel in charge of the funeral arrangements.
