She was born in Caseville on March 1, 1929 to Darling and Frances (Nicklas) Beadle. She graduated from Pigeon High School in 1947.
On June 12, 1948 she was united in marriage to Donald Loren Otto at St. Felix Catholic Church, Pinnebog; he preceded her in death in 2006.
Jessie was a faithful member of St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Pigeon, where she taught catechism, served as Eucharist Minister and belonged to the Altar Society. She was a member of the VFW #2236 Ladies Auxiliary and served as a Girl Scout leader for many years, and took the senior Girl Scouts to Washington D.C. in 1968. She worked at Niebel's Grocery and retired as manager of People's Oil & Gas. Following retirement, her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving children Gahl (David) Mitin and Beth (Paul) Schnitker; cherished grandchildren Michael (Lana) Mitin, Tamara Mitin Hartman and Christina (Brandon) Bruce; and her adored great-grandchildren Krew and Khloe, Wyatt, Amanda, Cortney, Blake and Brystal; her sister Leona (Fred) Langley; brothers Bert and Herb (Jean); sisters-in-law Jeanette Beadle, Betty Beadle and Rita Otto; loving nieces and nephews; and special friends. She was predeceased by her siblings Bill, George, Marion, Tom, Josephine, Harold, Geraldine, Francis and a baby sister.
The funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help-St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Pigeon. Burial will follow in Grand Lawn Cemetery, Pigeon.
Memorials can be made to Village of Pigeon Memorial Bench or Scheurer Hospital.
