EDWARD L. WOODS
The body of Edward Lee Woods, 44, of Port St. Joe, Fla., who was killed in an automobile accident near that city at 11 p.m. Saturday, arrived in Phenix City yesterday afternoon.
He was born in Phenix City Sept. 3, 1910, and lived there until two years ago when he moved to Port St. Joe, where he served as an electrician for the Port St. Joe Paper Co.,
Mr. Woods was a member of S. Patrick's Catholic Church in Phenix City.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Berdie Woods; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Layfield, Phenix City, and Miss Alice Woods, Port St. Joe; two sons, Leonard L. Woods. U. S. Navy, and Glenn Woods, Port St. Joe; and sister, Miss Bessie Mae Woods, Phenix City, and a niece.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Colonial Funeral Home.

Funeral for Edward L. Woods will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Phenix City, at 10 a.m. today, with the Rev. William Mason, CM, conducting the service.
Mr. Woods, 44, Port St. Joe, Fla., former Phenix City resident, was killed in an automobile accident near that city Saturday night.
Rosary was said at 8 p.m. yesterday. Burial will be in Girard Cemetery.
