GLENWOOD, Minn. - Mrs. William Cumming, 81, formerly of Sauk Centre. Minn., died at the Glenwood Community Hospital Saturday. She was born Feb. 5, 1890 in Todd County to Mr. and Mrs. Nels J. Holmberg. She married William Cumming of Sauk Centre on Oct. 25. 1912. (Marriage record shows Oct. 26, 1912)
Surviving Mrs. Cumming are her husband; daughters, Mrs. Dale (Thelma) Strong, Glenwood; Mrs. Verle (Melvina) Jackson, Big Lake. Minn.; Mrs. Harold (LuBelle) Elliott, St. Cloud; Mrs. Edmund (Geraldine) Tiemann, Melrose, Minn.; Mrs. Richard (Yvonne) Pederson, Westfield, N. J.; 23 grand- children; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Wesley Martin, Long Prairie, Minn.; Mrs. Fred Martin, Oregon; Mrs. Walter Tackett, Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Henry Olsen and Mrs. Emil Olson, Ashland, Ore.; Mrs. Russell Shaw, Neodosha, Kan. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Elwood Alsaker.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First United Church, Sauk Centre, with the Rev. Jack Haney officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
