Funeral services for Mr. James Elbert Busby, age 66, of Butler will be held Monday, April 25, 2011 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Joseph Futral and Rev. Billy Jowers officiating. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Holiness Cemetery with Rev Rusty Johnson and Rev. Bruce Johnson officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, April 24, 2011 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Bumpers Funeral Home.
Mr. Busby passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife Bernice Lee Busby of Butler; sons James Edward Busby, Jr. (Virginia) of Toxey; Gregory Wayne Busby (Angela) of Gilbertown; Jeremy Austin Busby of Butler; daughters Sheila Tyson (Charles) of Meridian; Lisa Byrd (Julian) of Mobile; brothers Glenn Busby (Betty) of Melvin; Dean Busby (Martha) of Quitman, MS; David Busby of Quitman, MS; Kenneth Busby (Melinda) of Kosciusko, MS; sisters Joyce Kelley (Frank) of North Carolina; Dialene Sullivan of Mobile; Lorene Sullivan (Terry) of Mobile; Linda Messick (Marlin) of Mobile; 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Mr. Busby was preceded in death by his parents William Austin Busby and Gladys Inell Kelley Busby and one sister Sylvia Holt.
