Pierre Rosario Roy dit Desjardins, son of Joseph Roy dit Desjardins and Adélina Fraser, was baptized on 25 Mar 1865 at Saint Louis de Kamouraska, Québec, Canada. His father Joseph died when he was three years old. Pierre immigrated as a child with his mother and siblings to the United States, settling in Brunswick, Cumberland, Maine. He was naturalized on 5 Sep 1888. Pierre also married about 1888. He and his wife Anais were the parents of five children, none of whom survived to adulthood. Pierre died at age 77 and was interred in Saint John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Brunswick.
