STETHEM, Rosa Beth age 67 of Miamisburg, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born March 25, 1947 in Dayton to the late Joseph and Nellie (Wantz) Middleton.
In addition to her parents, Rosa was preceded in death by her husband James Stethem in 2001; a grandchild, Jeremy Phillips and brothers, Henry Ditzel, Ray, Rodney and Roger Middleton. Rosa is survived by her adoring daughters, Lisa Phillips of Miamisburg, Becky (Nick) Goodson of West Carrollton, Dink Phillips of Miamisburg and Angi (Jason Dennis) Ginter of Germantown; grandchildren, Andrea Goodson, Drew Goodson, Samantha Sanders, Charlee Sanders, Bailey Phillips, Jade Recker and Journey Dennis; great grandson, Brantley; siblings, Theresa Craig of Miamisburg, Denise (Gary) Stamm of Miamisburg, Nancy Dunaway of Kentucky and John (Ludie) Middleton of Lima; special friends, Maria Greth, Debbie Woodard and Morgan Shrader; her extended family at DaVita Dialysis and numerous other family and friends. Rosa was a graduate of Miamisburg High School and obtained her Associate Degree in dietary management from Sinclair Community College. Rosa enjoyed several employment opportunities including a position with the State of Ohio, managing area convenience stores and locally as a registered dietician.
Family will receive friends and loved ones at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg, officiated by Pastor Mike Miracle. Hillgrove Cemetery will serve as Rosa's place of rest.
