Dorothy Watson Tyson, 84, of Nashville, died Thursday December 25, 2014 at her daughter's residence in Roswell.
She was born June 3, 1930 in Lanier County to the late Chandler Watson and the late Annie Belle Luke Watson. She was a homemaker, for many years was a sales associate for Norton's Jewelers and a member of the Nashville First Baptist Church. She was the widow of Fred Tyson who died in 1999 and was also preceded in death by a son, Wayne Tyson who died in 1977.
She is survived by her daughter: Linda Tyson of Roswell and a sister, Nadine Sheffield of Lakeland.
Funeral services will be held in the Nashville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Ray officiating. Interment will follow in the Long Bridge Cemetery.
