He was born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky on June 15, 1956. Ricky, as he was affectionately known, was an avid LSU fan. He also loved golfing, fishing and cooking for family and friends.
He is survived by his father, William C. Fortinberry and his sisters Debbie and Donna Fortinberry.
He is preceded in death by his mother Barbara Jean Fortinberry; maternal grandparents Troy and Edna Crum; and paternal grandparents Frank and Lee Earl Fortinberry.
Pallbearers will be Jacob and Luke Fryoux; Rusty Blackwell; Brad and David Arnold; and Alan Stringer.
Honorary pallbearer will be Chad Blackwell.
Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Monday, December 29th from 10 am until the memorial service at 2 pm. Interment following at Greenoaks Memorial Park. The services will be led by Pastors Jeff Ginn and Ron Lambe.
