Mr. Amino was born in Kansas City, KS, and was a lifelong area resident. He was an Army veteran of WWII, serving with the 91st Infantry Division in North Africa and Italy. He retired as president of Amino Bros. Co., Inc., in 1987. Vic and his brothers founded the company in 1932. He was a past member of Kansas Contractors Association, and served as chairman of its Accident Prevention Committee. His past memberships also included Heavy Constructors Association, Kansas Highway Advisory Board, and UNICO. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Amino ; his brothers, Frank and George Amino ; and his sister, Josephine Seeman. Vic is survived by his brothers, Albert Amino and Joe Amino , Kansas City, KS; nieces, Mary Seeman Sullivan, Denise Seeman Janes, Frances Huebner, Mary Moore; nephews, David Seeman, Albert Seeman; two great-nieces and one great-nephew. He was a great friend, brother, and uncle who was always there in a myriad of ways. He will be missed.
