John J. Paha
John J. Paha age 67 of Hickory Hills passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Advocate Christ Hospital with his family by his side.
He was born July 10, 1946 in Chicago the son of Joseph and Pauline (Zarobsky) Paha.
John worked for many years as a commercial electrician. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his family and dear friends.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Layton); children Jason (Michelle) of Chicago, Lesley (Daniel) Malone of Clever, Missouri and David of Hickory Hills; grandchildren Avry, Sadie, James, Eva and Noah; sisters Judy (Bernard) Schultz, Sister Lois (Adrian Dominican), Mary (Redmond) Hidding, Joseph, Matthew, Michael (Jane); and many nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Paul.
Visitation will be held Monday Feb. 10 from 4:00-9:00 pm at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home 7861 South 88th Ave. Justice. An additional visitation will precede the funeral Mass on Tuesday Feb. 11 at St. Denis Catholic Church, from 9:15 am until the time of the Mass.
Funeral Mass will be Celebrated Tuesday Feb. 11 at 10:00 am at St. Denis Catholic Church 3456 W. 83rd Place Chicago Father Ted Ostrowski Celebrant.
Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery Justice.
In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Denis Catholic Church 3456 W. 83rd Place Chicago, IL 60652 would be appreciated.
