Mr. Weimer was a native of Newark, N.J., and lived most of his life in Turlock.
He graduated from Turlock High School in 1975.
He served in the Air Force from 1976-82. He belonged to the Airman's Club at Travis Air Force Base near Fairfield, and enjoyed reading the Bible and listening to music.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Rose and Joe Hardwick of Turlock; father, Michael G. Weimer of Williamsport, Pa.; brothers, John R. Kraemer of San Diego, Alan E. Weimer of Amsterdam, Netherlands, John Weimer of Boston and Scott Hardwick of Modesto; sisters, Susan Weimer of Chico and Michelle Rabe of Modesto; and grandmother, Mariam Malik of Turlock.
Visitation from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Turlock Funeral Home.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial at Turlock Memorial Park.
Blessed and eternally grateful are we to have known him. With wrenching sadness we bid Michael farewell to God's open arms.
