Harry served as a Second Lieutenant and Navigator on B-24J "Patty's Pig" (#44-40398), 531st Bomber Squadron, 380th Bomber Group, Heavy, U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II.

He resided in Suffolk County, Massachusetts prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on August 25, 1942 in Boston, Massachusetts. He was noted as being employed as a Clerk and also as Single, with dependents.

Harry was originally declared "Missing In Action" when his B-24 was shot down by flak near Koepang, Timor and crashed in the Koepang Bay during the war.

He was awarded the Air Medal and the Purple Heart.

His remains were recovered and he was interred here.
