Parker Isbell, 78, of 1741 Daviess St., Owensboro, died Monday, August 2, 1993, at Mercy Hospital. He was born in Daviess County, was the retired owner of Parker’s Barbeque and was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church. He was the son of the late Ira & Alice Clark Isbell. Survivors include his wife, Nanette Osborne Isbell; 7 sons, Donald P., David E., Richard I., Timothy R., Christopher A. & Gregory Isbell, all of Owensboro, and Philip L. Isbell of Indianapolis; 3 daughters, Elizabeth Medley, Patricia Vaught and Judith Adams, all of Owensboro; 24 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ella Martine Wilhite of Indianapolis. Glenn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
