Eska L. Fendorf, 93, St. Louis, died Wednesday at Barnes Extended Care Facility, St. Louis. She was born Jan 19, 1901, at Iberia, the daughter of Selby and Josephine Mace Heltzell. She was married Feb. 25, 1927, to Robert Fendorf, who died in 1961.
She attended Drury College in Springfield and graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She taught English at Tuscumbia High School until she and her husband moved to Omaha, Neb. After her husband's death she moved to St. Louis. She was a member of Normandie Presbyterian Church. Survivors include nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. David Grsounick will officiate. Burial will be in Tuscumbia Cemetery.
