For activities he is enrolled in Leathercraft, F. F. A., and Athletic club and Watchdog of F. F. A. Gerald is a student council representative, and also school printer.
Gerald is especially interested in all kinds of sports, his favorite color is blue, and his favorite food is frog legs. He has a very prompt dislike of clicks.
Gerald plans to be an undertaker when he graduates. He plans to attend the college of embalming in Cincinnatti.(sic)

Funeral services for Gerald Martin Bibb were held Friday, February 6, 1998 at 1:00 p.m. in the Sayre First Christian Church with DeWayne Wright officiating.
Gerald, the son Merica (Martin) and Kenneth K. Bibb, was born November 17, 1917 in Batesville, AR and passed away February 2, 1998 in the Mercy Health Center at the age of 80 years, two months and 15 days.
Gerald moved with his parents to Oklahoma City while his grandfather cut the granite on the State Capital. They later moved south of Sayre when Gerald was two years old. He graduated from Sayre High School and married Lois "Kitten" Wigley on October 16, 1938 in Mangum, OK. They lived in Sayre where Gerald owned and operated Bibb Ditching and Constriction Company. Gerald was an accomplished pilot and loved flying his Mooney and was instrumental in developing the Sayre Municipal airport and had served as a Trustee of the Airport Commission.
Kitten passed away in 1992 and Gerald married Wanda L. Butler on April 28, 1994 in Oklahoma City and they made their home in Sayre. He was a member of the Sayre First Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, two brothers and one great grandson.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda of the home; two sons, Bobby Gerald Bidd of Houston, TX and Kenney and Jerry Bibb of Broken Arrow, OK; two grandchildren Thad and Shannon Bibb and Robin Hollis; one brother, Boyd L. Bibb of Okeeman, Ok; two step daughters, Caryl Bales and Terry Montgomery.
Interemnt(sic) was in the Sayre Doxey Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
