Steve A. Wrincik, Sr., 78, of Marenisco, Mich., formerly of Springfield, died at 3:40 a.m. Thursday at Grandview Hospital in Ironwood, Mich.
Born in Scranton, Pa., the son of Andrew and Katherine Juhasz Wrincik, he was retired from Pillsbury Mills.
He is survived by his wife, Marie (Ghignet); a son, Steve Jr. of Springfield; four daughters, Helen Wrincik, Mrs. Mary Ann Bailey and Mrs. Dorothy Ferguson, all of Springfield; and Mrs. Irene Dunham of Chicago; two brothers, Andrew and Alex, both of Springfield; two half-brothers, John and Frank Lesko, both of Springfield; four sisters, Mrs. Katherine Kukler of Long Beach, Calif; Mrs. Annie Paoni and Mrs. Margaret Kunz, both of Springfield; and Mrs. Vera Valatkas of Ashland; 24 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Wolford officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
