Charles J. Carbo passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014 at the age of 91. He was a native of Barton, LA and a longtime resident of Metairie. He served in the Army Air Corps during W.W. II, was a parishioner of St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, and retired from Metropolitan Insurance Company.
Beloved husband of the late Ruby Delahoussaye Carbo. Loving father of Robert Charles Carbo (Rosanna). Son of the late Robert and Mary Carbo. Brother of Rita Jacobsen and the late Betty Barker. Grandfather of Shanna L. DiGiovanni (Chris) and Robert Daniel Carbo (Sara). Great-grandfather of William A. DiGiovanni.
The family would like to give special thanks to the management and staff of the Southeast Louisiana War Veterans Home and Hospice In His Name.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at L.A. Muhleisen and Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
