She was born on July 3, 1921, in Greenbrier, AR. to the late Tollie and Bessie Freeman.
She was married to the late Faite Denniston for 60 years and was a stay at home Mother.
She was a devoted Christian, Wife, Mother, Grand-mother and was dedicated to her family. She was most happy when she was surrounded by family. She loved to cook and her grandchildren expected hot chocolate gravy and chocolate oatmeal cookies when they came to visit. She was a member of the Eastern Star serving in many officer positions, a charter member of Flippo Chapel Baptist Church and is a member and was attending Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Southside, AR before illness.
Other than her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers, L.B. Freeman, F.J. Freeman, W.C. Freeman and one sister, Ozell Anderson all of Conway, AR.
She is survived by three daughters, Shirley (Floyd) White of Pleasant Plains, AR, Ruby (Wayne) Stephens of Searcy, AR. and Dorothy Pearson of Olive Branch, MS. and one foster son Franklin (Lulu Mae) Hawkins of Cabot, AR; one sister, Linda (Charles) Carter of Conway, AR; one brother Cody Freeman of Mayflower, AR; grand-children, Sherrie White (Paul) Posey, Ricky White, Rhonda Stephens (Aden) Woodruff, Roy (Jennifer) Stephens, Nannette Pearson DeShazo, Robert Pearson, Jr., Larry (Penny) Hawkins, Donna Gwinn, Henry (Sharon) Hawkins; great grand-children, Jonathan (Robyn) Posey, Rebekah Posey (Michael) Loganbill, Courtney Woodruff (Robert) Stewart, Caleigh Woodruff, Camdon Woodruff, Kerry (Nealy) DeShazo, Kirkland DeShazo, William Pearson; great-great grand-children, Blake Loganbill, Zoe Loganbill, Oliver Posey, Brysen Pearson.
Services were at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Southside with burial in the Union Grove Cemetery at Pleasant Plains.
