Biography: Frances was a graduate of Anderson High School-Class of 1938. She worked for the Anderson Credit Bureau for 12 years. She was a Charter Member of the Alexandria Lioness Club, a member of the East Side Home Ec Club and the Alexandria-Monroe Historical Society. Frances was a devoted member of the Alexandria Lutheran Church of Our Blessed Savior and active in the ladies aid of the church. In 2003 she was named Woman of the Year by the Alexandria BPW Club. She was a Teacher for the Bible Study Fellowship from 1988-1990. Frances was an accomplished seamstress and she enjoyed all types of needlework. She had won prizes at the Indiana State Fair for her sewing. She was an admitted “choc-a-holic” and was known for her delicious apple pies. Her beautiful and gentle spirit will be sadly missed but fondly remembered.

Interment: Will follow in Park View Cemetery in Alexandria
Visitation: Friends may call at the Owens Funeral Home, 412 North Harrison Street in Alexandria on Friday from 3 pm to 8 pm or on Saturday at the church after 10 am prior to the services.
