nvnolan Mt Elliott Cemetery records on microfilm from the FHL show he was first interred there in Vault #3 on 14mar1925. The same record shows he was re-interred to Mt. Olivet Cemetery on 01Oct1926. If you go to the following website you can look up most Archdiocese of Detroit cemetery records...http://www.mtelliott.com/genealogy/ This website shows both interments for Ben Nolan I, also the plot location at Mt Olivet being; Section 15, Lot 228, Space 3. I have no idea for the reason of the two interments. From scanning through all of the Mt Elliot microfilms I saw it was not uncommon for remains to be moved to Mt Olivet, maybe it was more convenient or larger/more plots were available for future family member interments at the newer cemetery. Had you just looked at the online source you wouldn't have known why he was listed at two cemeteries or if it was two different Ben Nolan's. BTW, about the late 1850's the Mt Elliott burial records were burned in an office fire, so burial info for the cemetery prior to 1860 is sketchy. Information provided from Rich Nolan, thank you Rich.
