Opal M. Casey Jarrett, 93, a longtime resident of St. Albans, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 7, 2009. She was born Sept. 5, 1915, in Ona and was a daughter of the late Walker Casey and Hattie Thomas Casey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carmen L. Jarrett; stepmother, Brookie Casey; half sister, Freddie Jewel Atkins; half brother, William "Billy" Casey; and favorite aunt, Icle Chapman. She was a gifted homemaker and excellent cook. She was a member of King's River Worship Center, St. Albans. Surviving: cousin, Judy Jarrell of Huntington; sister, Bette Jeanene Tolley.
