Fred's parents were Frank Kerr and Fannie Hendricks-Kerr of Ft. Gibson, OK. A mistake was made on Fred's headstone. Shows his date of birth May 3, 1907, and it is actually May 3, 1899.

Fred KERR, a recent Senior Village resident, died Saturday at the age of 77. He was a retired Phillips Petroleum employee from Muskogee.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Boxwell Brothers Chapel. Rev. Bill Broxson presided. Burial was in Ochiltree Cemetery, under the direction of Boxwell Brothers.

Survivors include two daughters, Freida LANE of Perryton and Barbara VAUGHN of Amarillo; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The Perryton Herald (TX)-December 20, 1984. He is on the Dawes Cherokee roll#27366.

Also, I want to add in some records I am finding that one of Fred's wives, Beatrice Berd Kerr was actually married to Frank Kerr. But I believe this is wrong. I have a copy of an obituary and record of her funeral, in which it mentions the husband's name as Fred.

He married Nona (Kitty) in 1918.

Also, the original obituary did not mentioned that Frederick Augustus Kerr had two other children, Robert Lee Kerr and Fred A Kerr Jr.

Also, to find the grave, it is East of the children's burial ground, across the tree line.
