Moulton

Funeral service for L.B. Alexander, 84, of Moulton, will be Saturday, January 3, 2015, 11 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Bro. David Phillips, R.C. Borden and Marcus Lipscomb officiating. Visitation is tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Alexander, who died Thursday, January 1, 2015, at home, was born February 22, 1930, in Morgan County to Monroe and Minnie Ola Alexander. He was retired from Conagra and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bill Alexander, Tennis Alexander, and Fred Alexander; and sister, Hazel Hanshee.

Survivors include wife, Charlene Harris Alexander; sons, Larry Alexander and Marcus Alexander; daughter, Anita Alexander, Bowling; grandchild, Jessica Bowling McAbee; great-grandchildren, Lane, Mollie, and Maggie McAbee; brothers, Travis Alexander (Joyce) and Charlie Ray Alexander (Kim); sisters, Lavern Narmore (Donald), Linda Sneed (Hershel), and Jan Weaver (Ralph).

Pallbearers will be Ricky Layton, Charlie Alexander, Travis Alexander, Ray Fritz, Marty Harris, and Robert Harris.
