Died at Milwaukee, March 12, in sure and certain hope of eternal life. Mrs. Rachel, wife of S. W. Dunbar, ESq. aged 30 years. She was a woman devoted to the happness of her family, and whom made it her busines to promote peace around her.The communication of Divine grace to her soul on her dying bed were clear and satisfactory. The parting scene with her family, consisting of an affectionate husband, kind parents, a brother, and several small children was admirably delightful. Each one was addressed to in the station it held in the family, and received some good advice approriate to its condition. Early piety was first recommended, and next an honorable course in life. An absent brother to whom she was peculiarly endeared, was very specially remembered, and a most loving farewell left, communicated with a feeling invitation for him to meet her in heaven. Rachel was the daughter of George R. and Rebecca (Hamer) Walker, sister to George H. and Isaac P. Walker, and the wife of Sylvester W. Dunbar.
