DARIEN - Scott A. Jones, 52, of Darien, passed away on Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at home. He was born July 31, 1960, in Janesville, the son of Harlow and Donna (Taylor) Jones.
Scott graduated from Milton High School in the class of 1978.
Scott was employed by Husco Manufacturing in Whitewater.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and making his own muskie lures, spending time on his land up at Boulder Junction, and supporting the Green Bay Packers. He was very active showing rabbits through the years at various Wisconsin county fairs. For many years he also served as a rabbit judge. In 1978, Scott was voted the Top Youth Rabbit Judge in the United States by the American Rabbit Breeders Association. Scott is survived by his mother, Donna Jones of Darien; two brothers, Jeffrey (Lynor) Jones of Beloit and Rod (Maria Rosales) Jones of Janesville; niece, Desiree Jones of Janesville; nephew, Andy Jones of Janesville; goddaughter, Claire Kucken of Fort Atkinson; and close friend, Paula Chiochios of Fort Atkinson.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, Harlow Jones in 2005. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 31, at the Albrecht Funeral Home in Milton, with Pastor Kim Brumm officiating. Burial will be in the Richmond Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday, Dec. 30, from 1 to 3 p.m., and Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
