Elias Gish, the veteran undertaker of Omaha, was buried at Forest Lawn cemetery Tuesday afternoon, services being held at the undertaking parlors of Harry B. Davis, 709 South Sixteenth street, at 2 o'clock. The members of the trade were well represented at the obsequies, both those in business in Omaha and those in nearby towns.
The funeral sermon was delivered by Rev. Luther Kuhns, and N. P. Swanson, president of the Nebraska Funeral Directors' association, had charge of the funeral. The pallbearers were: H. K. Burkett, P. C. Heafey ad L. A. Hoffman, Omaha undertakers, and C. H. Riepen, J. C. Snyder and P. C. Elasser, all of them members of the Modern Woodmen of America.
No relatives of the dead man were present, but they sent word, giving instructions regarding the funeral.
