Maria Bordoni, 71, of 62 Carlo Way, died suddenly Monday afternoon in a local hospital. A native of Italy, she came to the United States in 1922 and settled in Lodi. She married Tony Bordoni Dec. 27, 1922. They lied all their married life in Lodi and celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last month. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church and the Italian Catholic Federation.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Bill Bordoni of Carmichael; two daughters, Mrs. Frances Cancilla of San Francisco and Mrs. Betty Inanni of Lodi; a sister, Mrs. Teresa anna of Acampo. She is also survived by a sister and two brothers living in France; a brother in Italy and another brother in South America. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
